In honor of Earth Day, join us for a lunch & learn presentation by Dr. Timothy Pape as he presents his research "Addition by Subtraction: The Enviro-Social Infrastructure Dynamics of Dam Removals." Environmental degradation is accelerating social-ecological crises throughout the world. Understanding how these crises can lead to transformations of space which produce safer, more biodiverse, and economically important places is a pressing research need. In this talk we will discuss recent findings related to social and economic benefits derived from dam removals and ecological restoration. Come for free pizza, and learn about Dr. Pape's latest research! Only 40 people can attend - RSVP today!
