Community Cleanup at the Crim Creek

Listed by BGSU Office of Campus Sustainability

About

Just a 7-minute walk from BGSU's Centennial Hall is a creek that manages stormwater runoff in the community, and it greatly needs a team of volunteers for a litter and trash cleanup before adverse effects to the local ecosystem and water quality occur. The creek starts behind Crim Elementary. We will meet everyone with all necessary supplies at the end of Williams Street and start from there. Let's do some public good outdoors in honor of Earth Month!

Walking or biking to the starting point is recommended as there is limited parking space available in this area. We recommend wearing boots (waterproof preferred) or at least close-toed shoes, and clothes that you wouldn't mind if they get dirty. Bring hydration. Even if you have to come a little late or leave a little early, your help is appreciated.
