About
Volunteers will do a variety of tasks with the goal of using leaves as much as possible to mulch around trees and in landscape and garden beds. This may involve digging out or pulling weeds, raking and in some yards using a mower to run over leaves.
We will meet at 228 East Court Street located two blocks west of campus. Some work sites are within walking distance. Transportation to other locations will be provided for volunteers who don't have a car. Carpooling will be encouraged and BG SONG members will also help people get to and from their work sites.
Tools, gloves and a snack bag for volunteers will be provided. Bring a filled reusable water bottle with you and wear close-toed shoes.
